Surgery Update
Our kids all arrived safely last night about 8:30 and were so glad to be home and with all the kids around them. Ben did well during the surgery---it looks like they just pierced right into the "heart" of it, from what I can see of the bandaged area. The risk of surgery stimulating the tumor to become active made us not want this surgery at all, but it was needed. They checked his blood counts the next morning and his platelets, hemoglobin and all were down by about half--amazing that that could happen in less than 24 hours, but they let the kids take him home anyway and he will be on a low dose of steroids all week with labs at the end of the week to monitor it. We appreciate your thoughts and your prayers, more than you can know--please remember him in your prayer times ---bless you all during this special season of love and light. Jane

Let Us Praise our God & King
We serve an mighty and awesome God! How blessed we are to know Him and to be known as His! I want to let you all know that our grandson, precious Floyd Benjamin is now 7 and 1/2 months old and is like a different child since you all have been praying. I cannot tell you how grateful we all are to God for putting him on your hearts and for doing a wonder in him and in each of us.
He had labs in late November and blood work showed his hemoglobin up from 10 to 12, and his blood platelets up to 379,000! He is a bundle of energy, just learning to sit up 3 weeks ago, and now crawling and pulled himself up to a standing position in his crib--this is significant because he feels strong enough to do it and because as the tumor has retreated from the muscle in his leg and calf, it doesn't hurt to stand on it. What a joy. For the first time since he was born, the diameter of each leg is the same. Except for the blue discoloration, they look the same. Everytime I lay hands on his leg to pray, there is a difference. God is moving and it is so exciting.
He is in Cincinnati Children's hospital this week Tuesday for appointments and tests, Wednesday for biopsy surgery of the leg, home Friday. Please do pray for the Lord's protection around him during this week and for the skill of the surgeon and great wisdom for the doctors involved. We are believing for every single tumor cell to be destroyed and completely removed from his body. Thank you so very much!

Update
I don't have anything official on Ben--no more tests have been taken, but his leg continues to slim down and become more normal in size. It is still discolored, but not nearly as much as it was.

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus
Ben loves music. His grandmother and I think he will sing this well when he is older. Zoe has some amazing videos on YouTube. Please let Zoe sing for you.
Listening to praise music brings much healing as does laughter. Praise the Lord today and laugh a little.

Prayers & Platelets Update
Lab tests taken Thursday showed Benjamin's blood platelets are up significantly---245,000 from 150,000 taken two and a half weeks ago at the hospital. Though still very discolored, the size of the leg continues to shrink and we can begin to see and feel his ankle bone. He looks and acts well and laughs at everything. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for every single bit of improvement and ask that you join us in prayer for him whenever the Holy Spirit prompts you to, as well as for peace and ever growing faith for his parents Floyd and Sandi. We are privileged to be witnessing a miracle of healing and it is so exciting! Our God is so awesome and so able. To Him be the glory and honor forever. Love in Him, Jane
